The tea, or "foam of liquid of jade", in the words of ancient poets is a very important part of the Chinese culture, as described in "The Tea House", an immortal work of Lao She.
Over the course of our small journey through Chinese lands, visited the Zhejiang Province and its capital, Hangzhou, which Marco Polo said it was "beautiful and magnificent as a celestial city."
Nearby, there is the planting of a legendary fame tea. After knowing the secrets of his preparation and conduct a tour in the fields, we could taste several samples of tea, Lung Ching, Dragon’s Well, surprising and very special.
During our stay we met the true spirit of Chinese teahouses. There are many of them in Hangzhou and in the vast majority will be received with surprise and curiosity.
As for travelling within the country, here too, it is interesting to have some knowledge of the language, which will enable to you to enjoy the experience with intensity, as well as help with staff and restaurant menus, or in the hotels, where people only speak Chinese.
